1. Poperties : White powder. with a slight odor of formic acid. Slightly soluable in water and glycerol, ethanol-soluble and insoluble in Aether. Density is 1.919g / cm3and melting point. 253 ° C
2. Usage : It is the byproduct of pentaerythritol and mainly used as intermediates in the production of some chemical products such as Formci Acid . Sodium Hydrosulite and Oxalic Acid . It also can be used as mordant in textile industy , tannery in leather indusry and so on .
